About me

I am a multi-skilled, international project professional with 10+ years of experience and an extensive track record of successfully managing complex projects in different contexts. My professional background covers a whole spectrum of EU projects; locally implemented regional policy projects, wider European emergency response capacity development and longer-term public sector capacity building programmes. Since 2008, progressively developing my career from an admin support function towards where I stand today, has equipped me with an unbeatable amount of knowledge regarding all the procedures in terms of EU funded projects and initiatives. Over the years, I have done projects e.g. in the EU's Eastern Partnership countries, the Balkans, and several countries in Asia. I have also served EU's civilian Common Security and Defence Policy missions in Afghanistan and Palestine, including being responsible to lead their Programme Management Capabilities. Complementing my experience, I have a solid educational background including e.g. MBA in Project Management. As an individual highly believing in lifelong learning, to further expand my analytical capacity and ability to critically and strategically handle the complexities of current European challenges, I am currently completing a mid-career Executive MSc in European Studies. For more details about my professional experience, please take a look at my Linkedin profile. With this blog, I want to share my expertise and knowledge by writing about 'hot topics' in project management, but most importantly, to share my passion for making the world of projects better, more competent and efficient!
